Description: This is a basic deck for practicing making CVCe words using silent "e" and listening to the sounds that the vowels make.  This allows the student to create basic words. The sound a vowel makes changes how the word is pronounced and the ability to discriminate between the sounds  is necessary to develop spelling and reading skills.
