Description: This deck is designed to be used during speech-language therapy. Students can self-monitor their own speech productions by sliding a Christmas cookie onto the tray. There are ten cookies per card and a variety of different cookies. Your student will be motivated while keeping track of their own speech when using this deck. -Pair with articulation cards as a reward after a certain number of trials -Use fluency strategies or descriptive language to describe the items -Practice asking/answering questions about the Christmas items -Practice categorizing, describing, inferencing, and comparing/contrasting the different Christmas objects -Pair with sentences strips to target expanding utterances and making requests -Use the open-ended scenes to target prepositions & following directions -Play as a quick game break The options are endless due to the open-ended nature of this activity!
