Description: Are your students sometimes unsure whether to use OU or OW when spelling words that contain the sound /ow/ -- like GROUND, OWL, LOUD and COW? This Orton Gillingham inspired Boom Card deck is designed to help student master this skill. In the Spelling Extensions Orton Gillingham inspired "Whose Burrow?" Game, students practice spelling one syllable words with the sound /ow/. Students listen to the audio on each play card, then move the correct phonogram to the answer line. The letters are different colors to help students identify vowel teams and consonants. When students move the phonogram, either the groundhog or the burrowing owl claims the burrow! Look closely! Can you find other critters in the background? Deck Includes: - 30 Play Cards - 1 Instruction/Example Card
