Description: Let's Build A Jack-O-Lantern! This resource targets a variety of different language concepts centered around making jack-o-lanterns! There are 4 different activities to choose from: 1. Following Instructions: Students will "build" a jack-o-lantern by following simple drag & drop/clicking instructions embedded with a variety of descriptive concepts. There are 10 instructions included. 2. Requests: Students will choose jack-o-lantern parts by shape, color, and function using the sentence starter " I want". There are 7 drag & drop requests total. 3. Sequencing: Students will listen and answer questions about how to make a jack-o-lantern. Then on the final card, ask students to sequence all 4 parts by dragging the pictured steps into their corresponding boxes in which they occur. 4. Find, Label, & Match sensory bin 5. BYO (Build Your Own) - students can choose which shape pumpkin they would like to use to make their jack-o-lantern by using the sentence starter "I want". Then click that pumpkin to be transitioned to the next card where where students can choose which shaped eyes, nose, and mouth they want and drag them onto the pumpkin. Click the back button to go back and choose a different pumpkin shape.
