During online classes for confinements in France, I’ve been asking my students to do a sort of show and tell around the house. They bring objects they don’t know the word for in English and we discuss them ~ ideas on how to remember the name, who’s got what, etc… So, these objects are from our “Treasure Hunts.” These 16 basic English vocabulary words are for beginning English learners. This version has no text. Words include: mouse, laptop, marbles, vase, pencil sharpener, rake, headphones, pacifier, candle, charger, binder, highlighter, plant, sofa, keyboard, and calendar. This deck is a multiple-choice game where children hear a word and must click on the correct option out of four possibilities. Words are pronounced twice each but children can click to listen again. Voice-overs are with a standard American accent. There are three games now in the series. Game 1 is here: https://wow.boomlearning.com/deck/q-bYNHBhwschD8bWiFz?ref=tpt. Game 2 is here… https://wow.boomlearning.com/deck/q-xsGszkjiiRLngYhky?ref=tpt I am also creating early reader versions of these games. Games one two and three are online.
