Description
This interactive no-prep activity is an engaging way to help your students build a variety of receptive and expressive language skills targeting spatial concepts and "Where" Questions. This activity contains spatial concepts and visual sentence strips! This interactive activity is extremely motivating and engaging with ANIMATED GIFS! Students are presented with an animated farm animal (GIFS) placed in different locations with a barn, truck, tractor, hay or farmer. Students are first asked to identify spatial concepts (e.g. on, on top, in front, behind, under, above, below, between, next to) in a field of 2. After, students are asked "where" questions and provided with a sentence starter containing 3 empty spaces to help students expand their utterances as they answer the where questions. The activity includes the following: - Spatial Concepts (e.g. in front, behind, on, above, in, below. under, next to, between) - A variety of animated farm animals (e.g. cow, sheep, chicken, rooster, duck, pig, goose, dog, cat, horse, goat, rooster, rabbit, turkey) Some of the following IEP goals can be targeted during this activity: - Wh Questions - Prepositions - Labeling Animals - Identifying and labeling Basic concepts - Expanding Utterances and increasing MLU
