Do you have students that answer questions by repeating the noun or verb in the sentence or by saying something relevant that doesn't answer the question? Then this is the question deck you're looking for! This deck targets simple "who" questions. Student selects answer from a field of three picture choices. All answer choices relate to the picture, answering various "wh" questions about the picture. This challenges the student to attend to the type of question being asked. The answer to a "who" question should be a person or a character. Most "who" questions in this deck target community helpers (e.g., teacher, doctor, etc.). Deck can be used in a variety of ways such as: -Student answers target question receptively -Student answers target question expressively (verbally or with AAC) -Student works on combining two words such as "go doctor" (verbally or with AAC) -Student works on expanding responses by using a phrase or a full sentence -Student creates any sentence about the picture (picture description task) -Student is prompted to use a specific language target in their response such as a pronoun, adjective, or specific verb tense Boardmaker symbols are used for answer choices.
