Story Detail Wh- Questions Answer who, what, where, when, why, or how questions regarding the story. Inferences Predict what would happen next or infer what certain characters might say. Emotions Identify what emotion the characters feel given a situation. Make the face using movable parts afterwards. Open-Ended Questions Type responses to open ended questions. Usually "what would you do if...?" Story Elements Identify a/the Character, Setting, Event, Problem, Solution in the story. Sequencing Rearrange four pictured events from the story on the next page. Fill in the Story Drag and drop words from the word bank to retell the story.
