Description: The "Possessive Apostrophe Sentences" is a deck which practices the implementation of the Possessive Apostrophe. Students need to read a sentence, identify which part of the sentence is the Possessive Noun and then rewrite the sentence incorporating the Possessive Noun and using the Possessive Apostrophe. The following rules have been included: 1. Add 's after a singular noun. 2. Add ' after a plural noun ending in s. 3. Add 's after a plural noun not ending in s. 4. Add 's after Proper noun ending in s OR Add ' after Proper noun ending in s (both sentences will be accepted when typed in) 5. Possession belongs to the last noun if more than one noun is listed e.g. John and Peter's cat. You may also be interested another one of my Possessive Apostrophe sets where students only need to change a phrase using the Possessive Apostrophe and not the whole sentence.
