Welcome to Deadwood Swamp, home to alligators and the food they love to eat. Deadwood Swamp is a great place to live if you are a gator, as long as you stay away from Tank, the King of the Swamp. Meet Snaggles and Al. E. Gator. They are best friends, but they love to compete with each other. They are always trying to see who can catch the most food. Sometimes, they get lucky and catch a lot. But if they run into Tank, they swim away quickly. He's very territorial about his swamp. Step 1: This is a 2-player game. Decide which player will help Snaggles, and which player will help Al E. Gator. Each gator will have 5 turns during the game. Step 2: Snaggles goes first. Help Snaggles by naming words/pictures, and moving them to the discard box. If you uncover a yummy alligator snack (they'll eat anything), then drag each snack to the box on the top left, starting with #1 to keep count easily. Step 3: Keep moving pictures and finding snacks until, uh-oh, you discover Tank lurking in the water. Swim away and let the next player have their turn. Step 4: Continue taking turns (5 turns each). You can choose to count and add up the snacks per turn, or you can go back and count them at the end of the game. The gator with the most accumulated snacks wins. Locations of the snacks and Tank are randomized, so play as many times as you like.
