This magnetic fields station activity includes sorts and interactives for class rotations or free play aligned to NGSS MS-PS2-5. Students sort examples by field strength and direction of attraction — no multiple choice questions. Sorts of magnetic and nonmagnetic materials, building models using movable charges to show positive, negative, or neutral charges, sorts of electric charges into attracting and repelling, and sorts of magnets into attracting and repelling.
