Description: This interactive, comprehension-based escape room is designed for upper elementary students and focuses on essential reading skills such as making inferences, using graphic organizers, answering text-dependent questions, retelling stories, and summarizing key ideas. The activity is divided into skill-specific sections, with each section featuring questions that must be answered correctly to progress. At the end of each section, students encounter a digital lock that can only be opened using clues found within the activity. Students are encouraged to revisit previous slides to uncover clues and successfully 'escape' by applying their comprehension strategies.
