Students practice spelling the short vowel i words. The 1st slide explains the directions. Then on the following 15 cards, the alien says the word in the box, and the students segment the sounds then place the letters into the correct boxes to help the alien spell cvc short vowel i words. The picture is there to help students that have memory issues when they segment words. There a 10 cards played for each game that are randomized so it's a new game each time played.
