Description
This is an interactive differentiated activity that helps students build their expressive and receptive language skills with a cat wearing different summer clothing items (e.g. shirt, dress, bathing suit, shorts, flip flops, hat). This interactive activity is used to target formulating Subject + Verb + Object sentences using summer clothing! Students are given visual sentence starters (e.g. cat wearing ___ or the cat is wearing a ____) to formulate longer utterances. Some of the following IEP goals can be targeted during this activity: - WH Questions - Expanding Utterances and Increasing MLU (e.g. Noun + Verb + Object) - Identifying and Labeling Clothing Items - Body parts (e.g. can ask students to identify body parts on the cat)
