This activity was created for use in speech therapy for mid to upper elementary grade students working on a variety of language skills including describing, synonyms and antonyms, comparing and contrasting, and other higher level language goals. • Cards 1-5 help teach your students about analogies and word relationships in highly accessible, student-focused language, with visual examples and explicit instruction. • Task cards 6-55 are multiple-choice questions where your students will choose from a set of 4 to complete an analogy and define the relationship given in the analogy. • There are 25 total analogies, each with a follow-up question about the word relationship.
