Description: This version is identical to the original version but contains the illustration from the published board book. DO NOT buy this if you own the original unless you want the new illustrations (it is the same book). This version also comes with comprehension questions from the book built in and bonus cards (dress up Maya and Design a t-shirt with the draw/ink tool). Read the book to the student. At the top of each page, the student is asked to look to see if the lunch in the lunchbox is Jenna’s (they will slide the lunchbox over to reveal what is behind it). They will then answer yes/no by selecting yes or no (the buttons are self-checking). Encourage them to verbalize if they are able. The student then will match the picture symbol to the box in the sentence strip (by dragging the correct symbol) and if they are able, verbalize the phrase (“I found a _____”). This is self-checking too. At the end of the book, the student will drag all of Jenna’s lunch into the lunchbox. There is a bonus lunch activity (students drag the food items they like) and comprehension questions that are tap-able and self checking.
