Description: Go on a firefly catching adventure with this review of note and rest values in 4/4 meter! Students will identify the number of beats associated with each note or rest and "catch" the fireflies by dragging and dropping them into the jar. In half the cards the kind of note (quarter note/whole note) is identified; in the other half the student will decide what sort of note it is. Multiple choice questions are included for variety. This deck includes basic note values: whole note and rest, half note and rest, dotted half note, quarter note and rest, and group of two eighth notes. If your students aren't ready for certain note/rest values yet, just turn them off in the Preview/Prep mode! Instructions are provided in written and audio form. The first two cards will play the audio automatically, after that the student will receive 15 randomized cards to play and may choose whether or not to use the audio instructions.
