Identifying and Labeling Object Function with Animated Verbs (GIFS) Activity

Description: Students are presented with animated verbs (GIFS). Students can either choose to identify or label object function. When identifying object function, students are presented with "asked to point to an item described by the question prompt. For example, point to something used to color. Students are given 3 visual choices. When labeling object function, students are asked a WH question such as "What do you do with a book? Students are given 3 visual choices to answer the WH question. Some examples of IEP goals targeted during this activity: - Identifying Object Function - Labeling Object Function (e.g. ask students after they identify the correct item, "what do you do with a ___." For example, "what do you do with a book?") - WH Questions (e.g. ask students "what" questions instead of point to for some of the question prompts). - Associations (e.g. ask about what goes in each room). - Verbs (e.g. ask students what he or she is doing in each picture to work on verbs)
