Fix the Bridge (writing equations) add & subtract 1-20- simplified

Description: This deck deals with adding and subtracting sums up to 20. The questions are not written, as the student must determine what the equation is. Students need to select the correct bridge pieces that build the number located on the Cliff (by boy). They have several options but only the right ones will build the bridge. Students create equations using the numbers provided and determine if they need to use a Plus or Minus symbol. For addition: It doesn't matter the order if they are the right answers, so for example: the target number is 12 so the student picks 7 & 5. They can write the equation 7 + 5 or 5 + 7. Both will work. For subtraction the 1st number must be the larger of the 2. No negative numbers. :-) Note: At first it may seem a bit tricky to see where the bridge belongs on the screen. Remind students who cant find the spots, to look for the light purple highlight that boom cards have when placing object over a drop zone. I also placed a rock on the side to show where the bridge pieces go. Hope your kiddos enjoy, fixing the bridge (equation).
