These cards support the Words Their Way Spelling Program sorts. This deck supports the Yellow Book, Word Sorts for Within Word Pattern Spellers 3rd Edition. It covers learning and practicing the rules, building the word in sounds and sorting the words into their rules as well as looking at the exceptions. This deck covers end sounds -DGE, -GE, Sort 47. Cards include fill in the blank and drag and drop. All instructions include the option of an audio button to read it to the student. I've created this deck to help support my lower spelling group who just don't seem to be getting the rule and who spend far too much time cutting and sorting the words. Students write the word, break it down into the sounds and sort them into the rules/patterns.
