Description: This deck was designed to practice understanding body language, nonverbal communication and recognizing common gestures. It is designed to support speech, language, and social emotional development. It includes 30 common gestures that students might encounter at home or at school. It includes a multiple choice format that is self-checking so students could complete this deck independently. I have also included open-ended cards with the same pictures so students can come up with their own responses when they are ready. Students can talk about the pictures and/or type their answers in the space provided.
