Description: These 36 task cards are differentiated and cover converting long division remainders to fractions. Cards 1-12 have a blue background and are the easiest. Cards 1-5 explain the 4 steps to convert long division remainders to fractions. Cards 6-12 ask students to type either the whole number, numerator, or denominator of the answer and its remainder. Cards 13-24 have a red background and are a little more difficult. Students are asked to answer a long division problem with 3 multiple choice answers. Cards 25-36 have a yellow background and are the most challenging. Students are asked to type each digit of the answer for the long division problem. I suggest having students work out the problems on a separate sheet of paper. These cards are aligned to the common core 4.NBT.B.6, and 5.NBT.B.6
