Doubles and Near Doubles

Description: These 20 cards cover adding doubles and near doubles. I made them to supplement Ready Classroom Lesson 2, but can be used with any curriculum. They are aligned to the common core standard 1.OA.C.6. These cards are randomized. Your students will see different arrangements such as pictures, base ten blocks, ten frames and just equations for fluency. Some questions will have them add the numbers and then choose the answer from 4 multiple choice options. The other cards they are shown a picture and must choose the equations that match. One equation will have 2 addends and the other equation will have a doubles fact + 1. They must choose both correct answers to move on.
