Over the past 15 years, I have created a list of terms my students have needed to know to fully appreciate our study of poetry AND to be successful on standardized testing. This is one of THREE decks of cards that have effectively taught my students the essential elements of poetry over the years. This deck of 38 interactive task cards provides an example of a poetic element / vocabulary term in use and asks students to determine which element of poetry it is.
