This is a free sample from my Winter Word Families Practice deck that includes cards for all of the short vowel word families. Students love building snowmen by looking at the word family on each snowman (it is also on the sign beside the snowman) and then finding the two missing snowballs which have pictures of objects that belong to that word family. They drag and drop the snowballs to finish building the snowman and then hit Submit to see if they are correct. You receive 8 free cards for the following word families: -at -an -ad -ap -ag -am
