Description: Provide the practice students need to master short a word families with this fun winter deck. This is a free sample from my Winter Word Families Practice deck that includes cards for all of the short vowel word families. Students love building snowmen by looking at the word family on each snowman (it is also on the sign beside the snowman) and then finding the two missing snowballs which have pictures of objects that belong to that word family.
