Description: This summer beach subtraction deck is the perfect visual to help your students practice subtracting within 10. The drag and drop feature in this deck makes it perfect for students who normally use manipulatives to solve problems. The first slide on this deck has directions of how to solve each card. The other 55 cards in this deck have subtraction problems within 10 for students to solve. On each card, the student will read the subtraction problem at the top. Then they will move some of the objects onto the boat or towel to take them away. However many they are left with is the answer to the problem. Students will then touch that number at the top of the screen to complete the subtraction problem. For example: 10-4=, students will move 4 fish onto the boat. There are 6 fish left, so they touch the number 6 at the top of the card. When students are done, they'll touch the blue submit button with the checkmark to see if they got it right. Students must get both parts right - drag and drop and touching the correct number - to move to the next card. The cards in this deck are set to randomize, so they will pop up in a different order each time your students play the game.
