Description: Autumn Party is a super-fun competitive two-player game designed for highly motivating speech therapy sessions, with 15 unique prompts that can be used to target behavior and expected and unexpected choices in teletherapy sessions! This activity was designed for students with speech goals in the areas of emotional reactions. These prompts will help students who may struggle with overreacting or determining appropriate reactions in the classroom and can be expanded into conversations about social skills with relatable common stories that students may be able to recall their own experiences with. Each turn in the game is prompted by a short story with a photo prompt. The game contains 5 foxes or raccoons on each team, with 15 possible places to look for hats to dress them up. The first time to find a hat for all of their animals is the winner. The autumn themed graphics are complex and engaging without being childish, which is great for upper elementary or middle school students, but the simplicity of the design means it can also be presented to young elementary children with support. Your students will have so much fun dressing up their woodland creatures that they will forget they are targeting speech therapy goals. Game Instructions: The forest creatures are having a party!
