Description
Your students will love sliding the flaps to help the Ranger find this missing bear cub! This book targets functional vocabulary, MLU, yes/no questions, and more! It has three interactive elements to keep your students engaged! (slide-able flaps, moveable animal images & moveable picture symbols) Read the book to the student. At the top of each page, the student is asked to look behind the objects to see if the bear cub is hiding there. The student is then prompted to slide the flap and look. They will then answer yes/no (verbally or by pointing to the symbol). The student then will match the picture symbols to the box in the phrase and verbalize the phrase (“I found a _____”). Encourage verbalizations throughout the whole book!
