Getting to Know You and the Teacher

Description: This is a great way to get to know students and have them get to know you for back to school. It can be be used in person or with teletherapy. You can also use this with a student that starts in the middle of the year. These Boom Cards need to be completed with a teacher as the teacher needs to provide his or her responses for some of the questions. If you are looking for something a student can complete on their own, check out my Getting to Know You Boom Cards. Questions include asking students and the teacher to share their favorite color, food, hobby, sport, tv show, movie, who they live with, what animals they have, etc. Certain questions, such as what school do you go to or where do you live, are geared for teletherapy with students that might be living in different states. Feel free to hide these cards if you do not want to use them. This can be used with elementary, middle and high school students as a way to get to know students better.
