Description: Hot Air Balloon Hide & Seek is an articulation practice activity based on the strategy guessing game ‘Battleship’. In this game version, hot air balloons are hidden on a gameboard which contains 36 words and pictures for the target sounds: /r/, /s-z/, /th/, /l/, and /sh-j-ch/. Players search their gameboard to find the hidden hot air balloons while practicing their targeted sounds. The game is for two to three players. If all players are working on the same sound it can work to share a device and take turns making guesses. If the players are working on different sounds they will each need a devise to play. A blank gameboard is included for the instructor or person who hides the balloons to make it less confusing when more than one target sound gameboard is being used.
