Description: Students can practice blending beginning and final blends, left to right tracking, reading real words, phonemic awareness, reading, and fluency. This procedure is based off the Orton-Gillingham blending drill and is a form of structured literacy and science of reading. Students need to read the sounds/words orally, so they do need to be monitored to ensure they are producing the correct sounds.
