This digital lesson focuses on the functional math/ life skill of counting coin combinations and comparing increments. Canadian currency is used in this lesson. See other postings for U.S currency. Students are presented with varying arrays of dimes, nickels and pennies. Students are asked to count the combinations and determine which of two arrays, is the higher amount. Students target multiple skills with this no prep digital lesson. Students work on counting change, identifying larger increments, comparing, stating prices, skip counting, counting and more!
