The box method (also known as the grid method) is an alternative to the standard algorithmic method for long (multi-digit) multiplication.  These Boom Cards are a great way for students to practice and learn how to multiply using area models. Students are required to type the correct answers in the given boxes or grid and are required to write the two partial products and the product.
