Description: This is a Hide & Seek deck. On each card a small object can be moved and hidden behind a larger object (e.g., egg behind a basket). The teacher shows the small object and then hides it so the students learn how to play. The students take turns guessing where the object is hiding. When it is his or her turn to guess, he or she must label the larger item and then can move it away to see if the object is hiding behind it. The categories of the larger items are: Numbers 1-10, Uppercase and lowercase letters, shapes and colors. Each group of categories is presented twice. This is great practice for item identification and is a fun activity during transitions and 'exit tickets'. The small object can be hidden again and again in different places and it is especially fun to let the students hide it. It's also fun to count and see how many guesses it takes to find the item. Have fun and Happy Easter!
