Description
Students will practice listening for details and other receptive language skills as they listen to the clues and try to guess the bug! There are 3 levels of play (field of 4, field of 8, field of 12). This activity also includes an open ended game with 15 insects where students can take turns describing a bug and guessing which one is being described. You could also use this card to practice asking yes/no questions (like Guess Who) - "Does it have a blue head?", "Does it have wings?", "Does it have yellow feet?". Finally, students can build their own bugs for a fun reward. This is a fun way to practice giving and following directions.
