Description: UPDATE: Audio has been added to each card! This 20-word deck introduces verbs as first words to early learners and those with delayed speech and language. The verbs were carefully chosen as the first words most commonly learned developmentally. Use this deck to encourage the receptive and expressive identification of actions typically found in a child's environment. The student will point to the verb you ask them to show you from a field of two items. Then the student is to verbally say the word and then mime the action. Developmentally we will imitate a motor skill before a verbal one so I included that to bring about speech in a normal developmental way. I strongly suggest using this on a device that has touch capabilities. Some older preschoolers can operate a mouse and that would work great as well.
