Predictable stories engage students and encourage participation by using simple text and repeated lines to help students know what's coming next. Students internalize sentence structure and vocabulary through this repetition, setting them up for success as they are given the opportunity to "read along" during subsequent retellings. These digital story books also include interactive elements in the illustrations that students can move and manipulate to further foster participation and engagement.
