Description: This deck is meant to provide LOTS of practice for your students who are working to build skills with the vocalic sounds of /r/. Each of the vocalic sounds (and 'er') are included, and there are 15 pages for each sound - 5 Initial, 5 Medial and 5 Final. Each page includes 20 targets and 3 check boxes per target (for a total of 60 practices per page). Each page includes access to a voice recorder. Students will be able to record their productions and analyze for correct articulation. This deck isn't designed as a game, but rather provides for rote practice. If this is the appropriate level for your student, it's a great way to get a lot of repeated practice at just the right level of difficulty. I use this primarily with my older students, but it can be used as a quick and easy target list for any practice session. Assign it as homework or use it during direct services for accessible targets.
