Description: These Christmas Reading tasks improve students' comprehension skills by helping them think, understand and develop skills as they read. There are explanations and activities for these skills: Visualization Predicting Drawing conclusions/ inference Cause and Effect Comparing and contrasting Fact and Opinion Generalization Questioning Sequencing Prior Knowledge Most of these tasks require deep thinking, responding and justification of opinions. This deck isn't randomised, because I wanted to develop difficulty. The first slide introduce and explains the skills.
