Description

This is a great way for students to practice reading and differentiating the three sounds of -ed. Student's should be explicitly taught that the suffix -ed means in the past and that it has three sounds : /t/, /d/ and /id/. There are four different activities to reinforce those concepts: a drag, drop and fill in the blank activity, identifying words with specific ending sounds, identifying nonsense words with -ed and two short, decodable stories with comprehension questions. Tons of practice!
