Description: There are multiple activities within this deck to help student contrast emotions that can look similar to eachother. There is a self rating, knowledge check and introduction. These activities follow. 1. Two pictures of similar emotions are shown and students drag and drop the correct emotion words to the picture and type in one way the emotions look different on a person's face or body. 2. The same emotions are presented in a picture and students choose 3 synonyms (from a choice of four) for that emotion word. 3. The same emotions are presented in a picture and students choose two things they might say to the person based on how they are feeling. 4. Students are shown 2 pictures (2 similar emotions) and they type what they'd say to each person. 5. Review. Photographs of people of various ages and skin tones are used throughout the deck. Optional audio directions can be accessed by the student by clicking on the microphone icon. There is a home page and arrows for easier navigation.
