Description
This is an open ended activity to practice speech, language, and writing skills. Students will be asked to create a caption (or meme) for the photo. This is a great activity for mixed groups or a reward at the end of the session. Language students can practice expanding sentences, describing pictures, answering questions, and making inferences with these silly animal photos. Articulation students can practice their speech sounds in sentences and fluency students can practice using their fluency strategies. Social language groups can practice conversation skills, recognizing facial expressions, perspective taking, and recognizing humor/sarcasm! You can have your students say their caption ideas out loud or type them in the provided space on the screen.
