Description: These 36 task cards cover Evaluating Expressions with Order of Operations Using PEMDAS. Questions are differentiated so students start with easier questions and then move to more challenging questions as they gain confidence. Cards 1 – 12 have a brown background and are the easiest questions in the deck. Students are asked to order the steps of evaluating the expressions given 2 or 3 operations. For example, what operation would they do first, second, and third? They are not asked to evaluate the expression. Cards 13 – 24 have a green background and are a little more challenging. Students are asked to tap or click the correct answer given 3 multiple choice options. Students will be evaluating expressions. Cards 25 - 36 have a multi-color background and are the most challenging of the questions. Students are asked to type the correct answer after evaluating the expressions.
