Description: This deck was specifically made to facilitate children with /r/ blend speech sound errors to learn to put /r/ blends at the start of words. This deck can be used to practice the /r/ blends in the initial word position in single words, in short phrases, in sentences or at the narrative level. You can encourage your student to practice /r/ blends in initial word position in the following activities; 1. Ask the student to give you instructions on where to place the stickers. 2. Ask the student to describe where they are putting the stickers as they place them. 3. Ask the student to tell you a story about the sticker scene after all the stickers are placed on it. 4. Ask the student to 'find' and describe where each target sticker is located after you place them all on the scene. Four beautifully illustrated scenes of a bedroom, park, playground and the beach are included in this deck. Each scene has five draggable stickers of objects which end with one of the target sounds. The 20 draggable initial /r/ blend target word stickers included are: dress, dresser, present, grapes, princess, treasure chest, drum, frog, train, crocodile, broccoli, pram, broom, truck, dragon, grass, tree, bread, trophy and prince.
