Description
St. Patrick's Day Expanding Utterances activity. Students will practice building sentences & identifying St. Patrick's Day themed verbs while answering "what doing" questions. Students are asked the question "What is the leprechaun doing?" at the top of each card. Beneath the question, students are presented with an image of a leprechaun performing a verb. Students must complete the "The leprechaun is......" sentence strip at the bottom of the card by dragging the correct verb into the sentence strip. Students are given 2 verbs to choose from. All answer choices provided are written and have visual aids to help with comprehension. Verbs students will identify throughout this activity: searching, hiding, dancing, jumping, playing, leaping, reading, sleeping, shouting, sitting, singing, waving, sliding, holding, painting, running
