Description: This is a NO PREP, NO PRINT Boom Card lesson that addresses Black History, Historical Figures, Comprehension, and Vocabulary with an engaging Black History theme. It includes full-color, high-resolution images and is fully interactive with DRAG and DROP features and offers immediate feedback. These cards include sixteen mini-reading passages to give a brief biography of several prominent historical figures who blazed a trail for equality and civil rights. Following EACH reading passage are comprehension questions to challenge your students to demonstrate understanding of the content. There are also key terms identified within each passage to guide instruction and use of context clues. There is a comprehensive review after the reading passages to "Test Your Knowledge" in a Trivia style format. And finally, there are two Four in a Row game boards for continued reinforcement of the concepts. One board covers the historical figures and the other focuses on key vocabulary terms.
