Commutative Property of Multiplication Balancing Equations Game! Fun practice to learn or review the commutative property of multiplication by dragging the 2 equal multiplication facts onto the scale to show that they are equal! This deck has 15 cards for A LOT of multiplication practice! Each card has a scale and 4 multiplication facts to choose from. Kids drag the 2 that are equal onto the scale to balance them. :) Since this is an easier version of the Balancing Multiplication Equations, I only included numbers within 10. Once they finish this deck, they can work on the Balancing Multiplication Equations set that is more challenging since it is any equal equation (6x2 and 3x4 could be equal, for example) and is the perfect next activity after this one. That set also practices facts to 12 (x0-x12 facts). It is a fun challenge and really gets kids practicing their multiplication fact fluency. I tried to design these to have bright and colorful backgrounds to look fun but still simple enough for young learners to not get distracted. I hope you love this activity!
