Description: Easy Onset is the speech fluency strategy of this Stuttering Therapy activity. It's feeding time on the farm! This fun stuttering therapy activity is engaging as the student/client moves the hungry farm animal down the path to the hay shed. Provide your students/clients with a visual to practice the smooth speech strategies of easy onset of speech coupled with breath & stretch. Easy onset is facilitated through initial /h/ phrases and can be extended for increased difficulty by adding a supplied phrase with animal descriptions (examples given). This also pairs kinesthetic movement with target strategies for increasing generalization of skill. With mediated learning, you control your student's rate of speech by moving the icon at desired speed. Then, allow your students to practice independently after you share the link or allow them to control the icon. An audio of the lesson objective and random examples are provided for calibration of strategies being targeted. Bonus: The last card in the deck is a reinforcement activity where your student get's to create their own picture.
