Description: This interactive no-prep activity is an engaging way to help your students build a variety of receptive and expressive language skills with spring nouns. Students are presented with a girl in a spring scene. Students are given sentences with the core word "need" to follow 1-step & 2-step directions with object functions. Students are able to identify spring nouns, identify spring object functions and follow 1-step & 2-step directions. This activity includes: - A variety of spring items (e.g. Umbrella, Egg Basket, Kite, Watering Can, Seeds, Rain Jacket, Rain Boots, Net, Butterfly, Bunny, Shovel, Duck, Rain Coat, Worm, Bike, Sunglasses, Lawn Mower, Gloves, Barbecue, Water, Ice Cream Ball) The following IEP goals can be targeted during the activity: - Following 1-step & 2-step directions - Object Functions - Identifying common nouns - WH Questions (e.g. ask students what did the girl need?)
