Description: This set of BOOM cards is part of a series of tiered autism social rules decks designed for middle and high school students. This set is about expected and unexpected behaviors in a waiting room for a doctor, dentist or other provider. It includes: an introduction, a Vimeo video (made for this product) showing different waiting rooms and people in them, 10 slides where students choose the correct answers related to waiting room behaviors (personal space, eye contact, talking to others etc), 1 slide drag and drop acceptable/unacceptable behaviors, 1 slide type at least four waiting room acceptable/unacceptable behaviors, 12 slides: read the waiting room scenario, make inferences, take perspectives, and type in how to respond.
